Yes there was, a brief window of opportunity from 4-5:30 am I don't miss those days. It's nice that she can ride with me now!

Oh geez, this is a tough one. I remember parking my stroller with sleeping baby inside beside the arena and having to climb off my horse atleast 5 times every ride! I just quit riding for the past 4 years or so. Now my kids are kindergarten and grade one I can ride a lot more, however before this time it was just a pain. Like you, I myself have had no family around since they were born, so essentially not a soul to offer assistance. In saying that though, I have been a bit of a mama bear with them when they were so little and vunerable....I am a little more relaxed now and if anyone (I trust) offers to hang out with my kids, Im all over it!!
Don't worry, this time will pass faster than you know!!!

When I was pregnant, I used to have visions of riding my horse in the indoor arena while my baby slept peacefully in his car seat in the aisle. Oh how horribly mistaken I was! Haha. I shall just have to wait I suppose. Distance makes the heart grow fonder? Thanks everyone for your posts

For those of you bringing a baby to the horse area. Did you sanitize hands or what if you have to deal with the baby? I'm kinda afraid of all that dirt that comes with my horses (even good brushing doesn't help).

Well, I'm not bringing the baby with me to the horses yet, but when I get home from riding I wash my hands before I hold him. I'll usually change clothes too. I feel like the hair might give him allergies or something? IDK if he's allergic but I am.
