I was never really a kid person... But having one has totally made life 100 times better. My little dude is now 7 months old. Time flies!

Now I love it... But my husband is totally a baby hog and he does a lot of stuff many dads don't. From feeding to getting up in the middle of the night to poopy diapers my husband does it all with a smile. Lol so I feel pretty lucky.

Btw my husband really wanted kids, I was not really that fond of the idea and being 7 years apart sometimes the things we want are not the same. So I kinda did it for him... But now I'm glad I did!
Pretty much exactly my situation. He is 7 yrs older then me and has been wanting kids since he turned thirty....I was hoping to be married before it happened, but **** happens... lol.

I rode thru my entire pregnancy. I was due jan 16 and I didnt have the baby until jan 27. I was still riding, with help from my significant other not on my terms (i tend to be independent and stubborn) but still riding on jan 25. I didnt have one problem. If I felt as if I needed to get off and stop riding then I did. If I felt ok I kept on riding. And my baby turned out perfectly normal and healthy. But it really depends on your pregnancy and your body.

Lol I WANT to ride but, I don't want to ride. The morning sickness finally went away, all early, but in general I feel like crud. I was 10 pounds up when I found out and I feel really gross, weak and bloated. Kinda like a marshmallow. :( It seems like so much work to get dressed, brush the horse, tack up the horse and haul my fat ass up there. And Im only on 10 weeks! I hope this passes.

It truly doesn't help that most days are 90+ ;)

Im super jealous of you ladies further along than me. On the brigjt side, only a few weeks til I can find out gender! I wanted boy, but all my dreams say girl lol

This is exactly how I feel. And the people around me don't understand. Its either I'm horrible for riding or I'm horrible for letting my mare sit in the pasture. So I've finally said screw it. I'm going to do whatever I feel comfortable with. I wish I got out and rode more but I feel crappy. I'm 17 weeks and still have morning sickness. I find out the gender next week :)

    Congratulations :)

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and have chosen not to ride :( :( :( but it's not the end of the world and I can ride again after! I do not want to put my unborn baby's life at risk! I would hate myself if I fell and seriously damaged or miscarried. It's not just my baby at the end of the day - it's my partner's too and I would feel so guilty as he has waited years for this (I'm 21 he's 32.. he acts like a big kid sometimes though lol!).

I'm still keeping myself horsey though. I find it fun to groom and just be around my boys!! I also have a friend who is keeping one of my boys fit. My other is not ridden, and the other is only 3 anyway so will continue his training next year.

I had a cry several weeks ago though as I was seriously missing being in the saddle, but I'm fine now and just thinking of the life I have created and the fun I will soon have with my boys while trying to look after a newborn ;) haha.
