Proud Mom

I'm super proud of my girl today. She didn't win any competitions... she didn't come home with any special awards from school. She fell off her pony. A good proper fall. Pony went left, she came out the side door and landed hard on a bit of rubble around the side of the garage.

She cried. I helped her up, and she was straight over to her pony, caught her and came back to me for a leg up. Up she got, and off she went again.

I don't think I could have been prouder of her. A year ago, a fall would have ruined her. Her confidence would have been out the window and she would have been back to the start again. She's come along so far in the past year, last May she was too nervous to come off the lunge line in a small round pen.

Sorry, just had to share one of life's "little achievements"

Stop for a minute, open your mind, learn. You may not agree with what I say, I may not agree with what you say but we will both learn something new.

That's awesome ^^ Learning to get back on is such a huge part of riding.

The sensitivity of the internet baffles me.

Hope she isn't too sore tomorrow!
