Delfina, that sounds awesome! What state are you in? (if I may ask)

I was really concerned because the schools my kids attend have failed the state tests so many years in a row that all kids are guaranteed a spot in a new school in the district if they wish (well other than there ISN'T another school in the district!) but my kids are doing better and learning more than they ever did at supposed "award-winning" schools. My littlest has gone from struggling at every single last subject to straight A's and ridiculously high scores on the State Tests. Never in a million years would have thought she would go from hours of homework and studying math nightly to skipping an entire grade level and BEING a math tutor!

Oh and a middle school with less than 200 kids is nothing short of wonderful. The kids cannot get away with ANYTHING!! They know your name, they know your mother's name.... heck, they know what vehicle she drives! Found that out when I had knee surgery but needed to deliver forgotten homework, office staff came running outside, before I even got out of my truck, since the historic building has lots and lots of steps or a 3/4 mile hike from the wheelchair ramp to the office. Not exactly a friendly place for someone on crutches.
