i'm lucky with the young lad as he's only 16 months.. so it won't make much difference.

She wants a barbie with a horse - I can deal with that. There hasn't been any big asks.. yay! :) I'm sure as we get nearer the big day that the list will get significantly longer though.

THis year its mostly clothes they will be getting. I've told all the extended family to just get them clothes. It'll be a fairly lacklustre Christmas for them excitement wise, but they have enough toys to do 10 families so we don't need too many more :)

Stop for a minute, open your mind, learn. You may not agree with what I say, I may not agree with what you say but we will both learn something new.

My oldest son wants another set of headphones by Dr. Dre. Informs me they are only $400. What he wants and what he is getting are two completely different presents. I'm not sure what I will buy this year. Two of mine are not fussy and love anything that is given to them, the other one better get a good job.

Mochachino- a few friends of mind have got Dre beats and they said they weren't worth the money at all! Nothing a pair of Skull Candys couldn't live up to apparently:)

I am really struggling with gift ideas this year.

Usually we get them lots of clothes (teenage foster kids) so that's no problem, they all still want that.

They get quite a few smaller personal gifts, and we used to get a big house gift each year. In previous years, that was big flat screens for the games systems, Xbox360, PS3 etc.
But now we have those, I don't really need any house gifts.

So last year, they each got a bike. One kid will be having his second Christmas with us this year, and two kids moved and couldn't take their bikes - so we have 3 bikes in the house.

So.... I need to come up with something that they would all like, (ie. Same gift, just in their favorite colors or something along those lines so it is not perceived that one kid is getting a better gift than other kids) in the $100 range each.

I am stumped.

Is there any amusement parks or activities nearby that you could get tickets for as a day out for everybody?

My dd's know what they want....the problem is the room.

My first dd is into Littles Petshops....BIG TIME!!! Last time I've counted her pets ...there were over 120 of these little suckers. I think next year, I'll take half of her petshops out and give them for next year's Christmas.

My second dd...is artsy. SHe loves drawing, painting anything to do with art. Now she's into Lego and wants to build something that has to do with police.

My third dd.... loves nail art stuff, makeup, hair acessories anything to do with beautifying herself.

DH.....is just going to get stuck with gift card from Caleba's.

How about some variety of personal music player? The Ipod shuffles are $49 so you could do that along with a GC to buy some music or go with a different brand so you could get one with more options.
