Never mind animal names, a gal was thinking of naming her new boy Serenity Teal. Teal is a duck. I spoke out of turn when I told her he would have a hard row in life trying to be believable with the name Serenity. Definitely never make it as a lawyer. She did reconsider and used more common names.

Peanut butter and jelly Nelly are two beagles that somehow couldn't be anything else! It just fits them! We call our dog poo. No idea why lol, just came about and stuck. My house is a strange one sometimes...

I obviously don't have a kid since I AM one, but my boss has a five year old who LOVES to name things. He named a few of our cats Hay Bale (because she's the color of hay apparently) Ugly Butt, and an...expletive, depending on how you use it O_o that happens to be another name for a cat.

He also named his a few horses Blackie Midnight (this horse is now greying out, go figure xD), Ouch (because riding him at a trot was ouch!) , and Kung Fu Panda. Needless to say we renamed a few.

Im still a kid so I don't have kids(except my cat and horse)but my brother is 8 and the names he comes up with sometimes are a little...strange. A few chickens were going to be named : fluffy, zippy and....dull claw.
