If we're talking about names..... :-D

Freight Train-male cat
Princess Toadstool-female cat
Cave Man-dog
Muckers-mare (for our family muckers=rubber boots)
Chubbychugalug-three cats that we could tell apart

and multiple steers with the names along the lines of, Rib-eye, Sirloin, Tenderloin, etc.

I figure if a girl wants to be a LEGEND, she should just go ahead and be one. ~Calamity Jane

I grew up with a cat named Crescendo but we called her "Chicken" and another cat named Dusty, but no one ever called her by her name, it was always just "Kitty". Obviously we didn't understand the point of giving a pet a name. My mom still has Chicken.

We let the kids name our "food" so everyone who eds up at our place (ours or not) ends up with a name.

We currently have George (jointly owned steer) and Mr Bull (friend's Hereford bull) here.

Elvis Piggsley, Evil Dr Porkchop and Hamm are in the pigpen.

Wings and Gobble Gobble are the turkeys.

Gizelle and Mr Nibbles (as the frekin goat chews on everything) are the dwarf goats.

And of course all 19 chickens are named.... was 20 until the neighbor's dog got one last night.

Neighbors dog has been re-named to "D@mn Dog"! I would say something but after having to clean up the chicken remains, I think the name is too tame for that dog right now!

Just an FYI, the fish has now been re-named:( It is now Lilo (fish) & Stitch (snail).

I liked junk better, but I think he finally figured out what junk means because he got rather upset when called his fish Junk. He asked if we were going to throw it away because he named it Junk.

When I was little I named our cats the worst names. I named my white cat "The Little Unicorn." I've had cats named Piepie, Chychy (Piepie's son) Shrimpy. Seashell. And the icing on the cake Erin Proto Zoa. Erin, after Aaron Carter and Proto Zoa after the pop singer from the Zenon movie. lol. But I hated the A spelling of Aaron, so we had to spell it with an E. Erin is still living today.

My son called his hamster Doggy then changed it to Sally when someone told him that all pets weren't dogs
We called our wonderful collie dog Wag because he wagged his tail a lot. He was a trained sheep/cattle dog and treated us like his flock/herd and would round us up when our mother called us to come in.

We have a duck named Assquack

I bought the girls 2 ducks last week and the older one said she was naming hers Daisy. Ok, look at the lil one and she holds up one VERY loud duckling and says mine is named Assquack!

Upon demanding to know why, she told it was after "that duck in all the commercials Mommy".... OH! the AFLACK duck!

Well Assquack stuck and so his name is Assquack and boy does it suit him, the loud stinker of a duck! Small child will be having her hearing checked....

Currently, I don't really have any oddly named animals...
The cats are Comet, Dark Thunder, Zack, Shade, Shadow. Zack used to have a twin named Cody, but he got sick and I had to have him put down.
The dogs are Timmie, Scrapper, Pixie, Basel, Banjo, Penny, Dingo, Charm, and Fritz.
The horses got named Nilla cause she came to us with the name Crazy, but the vet said we needed to change it and said that she had taken care of another cremello mare named Nilla who got foaled and they called the foal Pudding. Chestnut, our non chestnut colored horse came to us with the name Chestnut as did our other gelding Blue cause his former owner swore he was a Blue Roan when he is just a gray.
And one loud cockatiel names Gryphon!

None of our animals had any over the top names. A few had different names though. We had cats named Pepsi, Monkey, Skeebo and Klunk.

My daughter has begun naming things, including the big angry black snake in our back yard.

Say hello to "Princess"
