what's the trick for keeping a neck rug in place??
I bought a neck rug separately from the blanket and they don't attach to one another. I won't be making that mistake again! :( The neck rug keeps slipping up down my horse's neck. Any suggestions on a fix to keep the neck rug from slipping? I don't sew but would be willing to find someone who does if it means that I can keep my horse warm this winter and avoid having to re-buy everything from scratch at the same time.

Thanks in advance!

Say you had the blanket that goes with it- how does it attach?

Like, mine has straps that hook onto the dees of the blanket. I think that's pretty standard as well. My blanket and never cover aren't matching to go together, but my blanket has dee's for a neck cover, so it works out just fine. They don't quite line up the same, but it still works.

Just look at that, and I would take your blanket to someones who can sew on to your blanket with however the neck cover attaches.

If it's not anchored somehow, it's just going to slip.

Heavy duty Velcro, maybe? Just put the hooky side on the blanket itself and the soft side on the hood.

I've never had to deal with weather cold enough to require a neck cover but that's what came to mind first as a seamstress. :)
