Any estimates on towing packages?

So I'm wondering how much a towing package would be to install into my Ford Ranger? Kind of just curious, mostly. Its a 97 extended cab, if that helps.

Over 9000 dollars.

What are you looking to haul? Because...I wouldn't haul anything with a ford ranger...

Do not do it, it won't be safe. Get a 1/2, 3/4 ton, or a 1 ton if you want to haul. Rangers are not meant to haul.

Good to know. Thanks.

I know a lot of people on here have ford f150's that they haul with, even thats pushing it for me.

I would personally stick with a GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado 2500+ or a Ford f250+ for hauling anything. You can find older models relatively cheap- especially fords. The older model fords (pre-90's I think?) for really cheap and they run forever and haul decently too. I know my friend had a F-450 that had a reserve tank so we could drive and haul the six horse with that thing FOREVER. :)
