I'm needing to clean my bit. What's a good bit polish?
Well rinsed soap and water, nothing toxic. Vinegar or baking soda is ok, or toothpaste.
I never polish my bits for the fear of the polish being toxic. I just use soap and water, scrub and rinse thoroughly.
Tooth paste, not gel, good old fashioned paste, also good for cleaning silver BTW
Baking soda, water and elbow grease. Scrubby pad if it's really bad. Rinse well, dry well. Have fun.
I use toothpaste. It gets them clean and the horses are normally quite happy with the minty flavor left behind.
