Theres a lot of pics and i didnt know which ones to put on here. so go look at my album "zahir (EC Mr. Promo)" and tell me what you think! Ignore how skinny he looks. When I got him, he was very very skinny. It took me a long time to put weight on him. He actually lost weight on sweet feed. and yes he is wormed regularly. Finally I found a feed called Thrive and he has all his weight on, but i got a downgrade on a phone, so now I cant put recent pics on here from an i Phone. :( my camera broke too :(. So ignore the skinnyness. lol. he is healthy now. But just by looking at him what do you think he would be good at? he was shown in halter as a yearling and won many times in the AHA in California. He was also trained in dressage. I just wanted a critique on him. :)

his pics are in the album on my profile. if you go to my profile, there's an album called "Zahir (EC Mr. Promo). His father was Madero, a spanish stallion. His mother was Miss Providence, polish lines. he has Bask on his papers many times. He also has Al Cobre, Aladdin, GG Manita, Zancudo, and more. You can look his pedigree up on allbreedpedigree.com just look for EC Mr. Promo. He is a very sweet boy

He's a handsome lad for sure! With that pedigree I'd bet he could do just about anything he likes. What level dressage did he make it to? If he's well schooled in dressage you could do Western Pleasure with him, or he could probably be a hunter if you prefer. I'm guessing you aren't interested in dressage? Or maybe do Cowboy Dressage, that's becoming something a lot of folks are enjoying. He has an athletic pedigree and with all that Spanish he should be a lover boy too. A video where we could see his free movement might help too.

Main thing to remember is, Arabians were bred to be good at lots of stuff, not really specialist horses though folks are breeding more that way in today's breeding. His breeding tells me I could probably show him in the morning, trail ride in the afternoon and do a CTR the following day and do really well.

lol i ride english. i am very interested in dressage. i do not know what level he made it to. He came from El Camino Ranch in Cali. He was shown in halter. He was sold when he was about 3 to a vet. i do not know what she trained him in but she sold him to someone in texas. i dont know what they did with him. somehow he ended up with a lady in justin, tx who occasionally trail rode him and had no idea about any kind of horse stuff. she neglected him and starved him and i saw him for sale on craigslist so i rushed over there and bought him for $500. a pretty good deal since he was sold as a 3 yr old for anywhere between $7,000 and $15,000! I do not which owner trained him in dressage. i got ahold of one of the previous owners who said he was trained in dressage. i had a trainer ride him a couple of weeks ago and she said he has definitely had dressage training. soo...idk. lol. he is very loving! he hates other horses, though! just loves people!!!

LOL< the loving people thing doesn't surprise me at all with that pedigree. I suspect he hates other horses because he was low on the totem pole for what little feed there was. Once he's gotten all fed up and used to regular meals he may calm down about hating other horses toos. Arabians are usually very social with other horses. He's very well bred and LaVesta Locklin (his breeder) knows her way around the breeding shed and has bred some very nice horses. I don't have Data Source right now, or I could look up his show record for you and you might find out where he got his training. Remind me in a couple of months when I renew (I prefer to wait until the new year) and I'll look him up for you. We're you able to get his papers?

he is at a good weight now. those pics were taken when i was struggling with his weight. when i ride him, he likes to go alone. if another horse even comes within 5 feet of us, he pins his ears back and sometimes he will kick or bite. one time he charged. i get on to him for it, although i cant blame him for not wanting another horse up his butt lol. he doesnt make friends in the pasture. at my parents house, they have 6 horses. he lived there for two years. while all the horses were in the pasture grazing, he would be alone in the woods! he is just a loner. but he comes up to me when he sees me and loves to go riding. he is funny. yes i talked to her through email once (his breeder) and she gave me the show records from when he was shown in halter (he got first in state aha shows!). but thats all. i would love to see more! someone also told me he competed in endurance but i couldnt find his name in the aerc so i doubt he actually went through with it. yes i have all of his papers. registration, pedigree, breeders sweepstakes, everything lol thank goodness. that would be wonderful thank you very much! send me a friend request so i can find you lol. You know LaVesta Locklin?
