Conformation Critique, please! =) This is my Argentine TB, Spot. She was imported about 7 years ago for polo here in the states and played right up until I got her. [IMG][/IMG] I'm curious what others think about her, so be as critique-y as you like! =) I hope these pictures are alright, if not I'll try to get better pictures another day. Very pretty! bad - She has a longer back. Not much muscling. Kind of pidgin toed. Good - Fairly straight legs Nice neck and shoulder. |
I think she is a very structurally correct horse. She has really good legs, a really sturdy shoulder and a good hip angle. Shortish pasterns a bit upright, but again, really structurally strong build. Her head is large and throatlatch thick, but isnt' that the way Criollos are? I think she is awesome! |
Thanks Tinyliny and Ray! She's a bit stouter than most polo ponies, they usually breed the TBxCriollos back to TBs to get a bit more of a speedy horse. |
I really like her and that spot it awesome! I think she looks like a nice sturdy mount, I dont like those tbs that come out with "pencil" legs eeeeeee |
I don't know enough to critique her confo, but is that spot from an old horse bite? It looks like somebody bit a chunk out of her booty! LOL |
Hahaha, I thought about her spot being a bite too. When I met her about 3 years ago playing polo she already had that spot, so its old. =) |
