HDR bridles?

Looking for some reviews on them...I've been searching for a quality bridle, soft leather that will last awhile, but not something that will break the bank (under $150). Needs to include the following:

* dark (havana) brown
* available in cob size
* padded noseband (and crown piece if possible but not necessary)
* plain, not that fancy stitched pattern
* if there's a flash that's fine, but needs to be removable since I don't use one

A friend of mine said her friend just got an HDR bridle that was padded and nice quality for $80, so I started looking into it and found this one. Seems to fit everything I want, but with online it's SO difficult to really tell quality/feel of the leather so I thought I'd get some opinions on here from my trust HF crew! :wink:

Never tried their bridles, I just know that everything else that I have had or used that is an HDR has been amazing. It's a great brand, so I don't see how the bridles would be any different :)!

I have an HDR bridle and so does my best friend. Although not the same model as yours I can say their bridles are a good quality. No complaints here.

I really like the Crown bridles too.

they are on the less expensive side but have good leather and mine came with a brass clincher!

I like HDR an their quality. I have their HDR 5 Point Breast Plate and I was quite impressed with the quality of leather. I have an HDR bridle as well that I got off of ebay, scammed that for an awesome price! I need to oil it, but I was quite impressed with the quality as well.

I used it for the first time this weekend, and I received a lot of compliments on it.

Now you guys have got me looking at HDR SADDLES too! haha Dover has some available for test ride...hmmmmmm TEMPTING! ;-)

If you are going to look into HDR saddles, I would look at their better quality models/makes.

The HDR Luxemburg, and the HDR SO...

Henri De Rivel Jumping Saddles

I have ridden in both, and they are very well made saddles, beautiful leather and put you in an amazing position.

Ooooh that luxemburg looks very nice! :-)
