18" Zaldi Grand Prix Value?
 

I have an 18" Zaldi Gran Prix saddle that I am researching in order to sell. I purchased it new in Spain approx 10 yrs ago, but only rode it a handful of times. I have had no luck finding them used on the internet, and unforuntately do not live in an area of the country (US) that is familiar with them.

Does anyone know what a fair asking price would be? Thank you

It's not as good as I hoped, considering the desirability for those who know and love them.

But not as bad as I feared either considering their lack of exposure!

Other than this site, are there many reputable places to list it online?

I've sat in a Zaldi and it was quite lovely. There are some online saddle consignment stores that might be able to sell it for you for a higher price, though you'll have to send it to them and pay consignment fees.

Here is a new Zaldi add. I'm not sure which model you have, but it might give you some idea.

Here is the Zaldi website. I bet you can contact them with info on your saddle and get some ideas. Post some photos, if you can.

Other companies selling them in Europe are closer to $1400.00, but the shipping fees add up to about the same when it's all said and done.

Like I said, mine is ten years old, but has basically not been ridden, and includes leathers, stirrups, pad & cover.
