Is She getting better?
In the beginning of the year, I was very unsatisfied with my farrier. Her feet were very uneven, making her gaits unbalanced and uncomfortable, and her toes were all but cut off. The bottom of her feet were chipping and the outside of her wall was chipping inward under her hooves. She's naturally very upright, but the way her feet were being trimmed was making it worse. I've since changed farriers and I really like my current one. He's put front shoes on her, she's very balanced and moves nicely and her feet look good. :)
But, can you see a noticeable change in her hooves and pasterns?
Here's before. Sorry it's not the best, but if you look, her hind left is very small and cut too short and she's really upright.
And a few times after the new farrier came:
And most recently:
Do you see any difference? I know these aren't the best pictures to work with, and the difference is more obvious in person. xP
I think there is a difference in her hind hooves. I still think her fronts look like club feet, but definately better.
They do look better! The first set o before and afters, you could really see the difference in the back, the second set, front feet look much better!
Sounds like your new farrier is a keeper!
