Here's Mitch, he's still learning (as am I) but we're getting there and I now have a dressage saddle (So much easier!) he's just turned 8 and has been off the track 18 months now

Up here they are de rigueur during the winter we wear them over thermals, and lots of layers, :lol: I have ridden a test when it was -20*C outside, and colder inside.

GH, can you ride "western" dressage with the shanked bit? Or bit rules are exactly the same as with traditional dressage and only the saddle is different?

goldenhorse Is he/she an Appaloosa? I learned to ride on a big ol appy gelding that taught 3 generations of family children to ride. LOVE that BLUE ally COLOR!!!!!!!!
good ol Grey Cloud! my grandpa bought him cheap cause they didn't think he was gonna show color. he was born black. every single year he shed out and his coat was something different. the first year he shed out to a white background with silver dollar size black spots all over ......LUV those Appys
