Avater Woes
 

okay...so no matter what i do...my avatars are coming out really crummy!!!
they are all blurry...what programs do yall use to upload yours??

I use photoshop and save it as a jpg, but i've also used photobucket (it's free to join.. photobucket.com)

i just upload from the site..... i use different programs to edit them though, like Microsoft Photo Something...... and this one that came from my camera.... my camera is an 8megapixel, so most of the pics are way too big for the avatar unless they are like [] that tiny, lol

i have to resize and resize...then they just get blurry

On Photobucket.com I take mine to thumbnail size in the edit. Thats usually the right size for the avitar.

I edit my avitars with PhotoFiltre. I crop and resize them and if them look too tangled I try to crop them more and edit for example the background (a simply background makes the avitar look much trenchant). If it doens't work I choose an other picture. I save avitars my computer (a format is jpg) and upload them here.

Is your picture really small to begin with? that or the quality of the photo is very poor to begin with.

Picturetrail.com is the site Iike to use for the crap photos I only use online. I pay for the other program. Picturetrail is easy and quick.
