Are foam panels on a saddle able to be fixed/replaced?
I have a six yr. old Pessoa all purpose saddle with foam panels. My neighbor was so kind as to let their dog stray onto my farm. He wandered into my tack room and chewed about an inch off the tip of the panel on my saddle. Would this be something that can be fixed? If so what would the approximate cost be?

I'm not 100% but I would think that it could be fixed from Pessoa, but that it might be pretty costly. I'd contact a local Pessoa dealer (if there is one) and see what they say....normally they would know if they'd do that and the approx. price of it.

You can and should be getting replaced. That's the problem with foam saddles. They assumably conform to a horse's back more easily than wool but it also packs together after a given amount of rides which means it will need replacing sooner than if you had a wool flocked saddle.
