eventers- what is your fave helmet?
What's your fave helmet for eventing? Dressage/stadium/cross country and do you use two helmets? I have an IRH for dressage (black with non interchangable dull black strip) for cross country and stadium i use a Charles Owen Pro II skull cap (gold of course!) let's see some pics!
I love my IRH helmet. However, I've tried my friend's Charles Owen and it's very, very comfortable. If this baby ever dies on me, my next helmet will be a CO.
same helmet :P
I use my Skull Cap for all 3 phases. I will never do xc without my skull cap on.
I use a Charles Owen skull cap for all three as well. Used to use Tipperary, but now I am spoiled with my CO!
Just switched to a skull cap for the upcoming season. Old one was slipping and falling over my eyes at the most inconvenient times. Can't wait to try it out.
IRH Olympian for when I need a dressy helmet. Tipperary Sportage for when I don't.
Charles Owen JR8 (black on black) for dressage and show jumping, Charles Owen Skull Cap for XC. I need a new skull cap, however, as mine is going on 6-7 years old and is about ready to be retired. Knock on wood, I have yet to fall off with either of my CO helmets, so I can't give personal experience in how protective they are, but they're super comfy!
i have a charles owen hampton hat [velvet] that i use for all three phases, i love how well it fits me !
I have an IRH kindof like the OP posted. When it is time for a new one, I want to get the new IRH that looks like a CO. CO's are sooo popular now. EVERYONE has them...I want to stand out!
