Someone to make custom showmanship jackets??
Hello! I'm desperatly trying to find someone that would be able to create a showmanship jacket for me. I know what I want it to look like, pretty in-detail also, and the colors, ect. however, seeing as I'll be entering my freshman year of college in August 2012, I dont have the $4500 to spend on the Connie's Custom that I would love to own :/ If anyone has a seamstress that they would recommend, I would be outstandingly appreciative! Any suggestions or pretty much any help is greatly sppreciated :-) Thank you SOO much!!
what are you looking to have made? In specifics? I may be willing to take a shot at one :D
well my barn colors are a deep, almost wine colored purple with lime green accenting and so I think thats what I would like to follow through in the jacket
this is probably one of my favorite berry fit jacket styles with the collar and cut of the jacket, especially for showmanship. Do you think it's something you could try? pretty please?? :D
What is the budget that you are looking to spend on a jacket? Are you looking for pants as well? The picture that you have put up probably has over $100 in large rhinestones alone (can not see that back to see how many are on it for sure), and I would guess many gross of smaller stones. Do you want that style of collar as well? What you can get will really depend on your budget- stones, leather, and fabric are increasing in price and time needed to complete an outfit will determine the labor cost. Also when are you looking to want the jacket completed?
I currently have for sale this jacket: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
And last spring I had this Jacket which is sold- http://www.horseforum.com/horse-show...e-brand-80166/
We also have more pictures of jackets that we have done and are working on finishing a web site that should be done by the 1st of the year.
With the Berry Fit example, it's mostly just to show the collar design and front cut that I find very flattering and versitile. The base color of the jacket would be the deep purple, using lime green as the accent color and for material, Im not sure of it's proper name but this is it :)
I've worn it before and its lightweight and amazingly comfortable. Thanks so much for your interest, Im showing as 17 this year so Im almost finished with my youth career and I have 3 really nice horses going into this season so Im ready to have an upper-level outfit made (less obnoxious colors, more appropriate themes (no stars and such haha)) I really like both of your outfits that those links go to and I think you could tackle this :)
Just as a question...why do you want it to be your barn colours?
I love dark purple and lime green together, everything thing accessorie wise is in it, tack cases, blankets, even my pups collar. Being the trainer, I think it would be neat to have the same trend follow through into my outfit
