donkey in foal, what to look for?
i dont know how much any of you know about donkeys, but i am buying a new donkey who is in foal, i am wondering what the gestation period is for a standard sized donkey. and if there are any special things i should look out for? she has a big belly now, when do they syart to foal? i will get the vet out when we get her but? but till then i would appreciate any help!! thank you:)
i believe their gestation is about 14 months. well 12-14 months. i don't know a whole lot about donkeys. but i do know they carry longer then horses do.
