Qh colt conformation
this is romeo, he is 1 year and 5 months and currently stands at 14.2 hh at leat, that was a month or more ago. please let me know what you all think of his conformation, i want all the flaws but i would also like to know the good things about him! sorry he is SO dirty :/
Hard to judge as he's still growing, but from these shots his pasterns are a bit long but he stands up well. Good, straight hind legs and well-developing hindquarters.
His front legs do seem a tad over at the knee and he is a downhill at the moment, but he should even out.
Neck's a bit long, but that might change as well as he grows and his chest & girth deepen.
thanks! i was wpndering about him being over at the knee he was born that way really bad, now i dont notice it much. sometimes i see it sometimes i dont.
his front hooves appear to be very long? perhaps that is attributing to the issue?
yes his hooves do need a trip as well as all my other horses, here is a better picture of romeo
