Karo Syrup

I am getting my horse tested for HYPP sometime in the very near future (Possibly early Jan.) and have done quite a bit a research on it already. I have read the Karo syrup can stop an attack and was wondering if it was given IM or Oral. I assume the Banimine for an attack would be IM?

ETA:
Looking at my post it changed Intramuscular (I abbreviated it to IM) to I'm, sorry!

Inject corn syrup??

It's given orally.

That is what I was leaning to, but I am writing all this down and want to be precise. Thank you!

Your vet is your best resource in this situation.

Why are you getting your horse tested?

Impressive is her grandsire. I recently purchased her, and was told they 'thought' she was n/n.
