Hey guys can you please Critique me jumping?
Sorry my heads chopped off! :lol:
this was one single jump and I must have just been looking straight ahead if anyone was wondering!!
I think this jump is 90cm-1m high? i think thats maybe 3 foot or something? :?
Just some pointers on my position would be good!

You have a very cute horse here. But there are some things you need to fix. It looks as if you are gripping with your knees, and this is causing your legs to swing back. You need way way way more heel, your toes are pointing almost directly down. You have a beautiful two point other than your leg though. You might want to come back down in the saddle just a tad, but I think with a more secure leg you will automatically come back a little. Your release is messy. You have a very tight hold on your horse's face. There is no need for the death grip. Lengthen your reins some, and bring your hands back down his neck. If you are worried about still being able to have your horse in your hands when you land, you dont need a short rein to do so. Even though your head is cut off, I can still see your chin an dit looks like you are looking up. Good job there. You look like a very nice rider, just fix your leg and your release. No stirrup work will cure your leg. Lots and lots of no stirrup work. If its painful, good, that means you are doing it right. Your release on the other hand, is something you have to play around with. Learn the different type of releases and find out which one suits you and your horse best.

Your horse is georgous! But there are some things you need to improve, you look like your gripping with your knees, and you legs look a little to far back. imo slide your legs foward so closer to the girth.....Not much, and open your legs, also, you siad when your looking sraight, you may already know this but, when your about to turn (left or right) look for your next jump, that way you will remeber about your knees, and legs. Try that! Good Luck :D
You guys are a great pair. I would just say to work on really pushing you heels down and opening up your knee. One way I have worked on this is by cantering in two-point with one hand on my hip. Hope that helps!
