Horsehair Jewelry

I am selling jewelry I have left over from this summer's fund raisers for The Four
Corners Equine Rescue. These bracelets are ready made being sold as pictured.
All Prices in USD
Pay Pal is my preference, $5 US shipping and I do ship internationally for $8.

If you are interested in having custom jewelry made from your own horse's hair please visit my web site: Sandstorm Designs in Horse Hair Where you will find directions on collecting your horsehair and ordering.

Most of the hair used in making these bracelets came from the horses being housed at the Four Corners Equine Rescue, for a link to the rescue's web site visit my home page: Sandstorm Designs in Horse Hair A percentage of every sale goes to help care for the horses awaiting adoption at FCER.

If you have any questions that you think will be of general interest please feel free to post them here and I will try to answer them for you.
For any other questions please contact me by email: honeybrowntoo@msn.com and I will do my best to help you in any way I can.

Using rescue horses' hair for money???

Hello,
I regestered just so I could ask you a question. Why in heaven would you use the hair from horses waiting for rescue to make money for yourself? I see you have a whole website and you proudly proclaim that most of the hair you use comes from horses awaiting rescue at the Four Corner's Equine Rescue. I gleen for your post that it may have started as a fundraiser but now to have a money making website using that hair seem wrong, wrong, wrong. And why are you selling the jewelry on this forum anyway? I thought there were no salespitches in forum pages. The whole thing seems more than "shakey" to me.

How does it seem wrong? Did she beat the horse then Chop it's tail off?

I don't see anything wrong with this. I think the jewelry is beautiful.

On the website it states a portion of all proceeds go to back to the rescue. Ontop of that, think of the supplies that it goes into making these. I guarantee she isn't making much of a profit. Probably just getting her money back from the cost of the supplies and then sending the rest to the organization where she got the tail hair from.

Blighmare, are you doing anything to help the rescued horses in your area? If your not, you don't have any right to sit there and judge.

And there are sales ads on this forum. The OP is not breaking any rules. There are tack and horse ads all over this forum.

Oh ignorance, how I adore thee. I think this jewelry is beautifully made and very professional looking.

I must apologise I meant to post this thread on the classified page and placed it here purely by mistake.

I would like to point out that I make donations to the rescue from EVERY sale, including commission and custom work. I adopted my own horse Fargo from this rescue and I am just trying my best to give back in what small way I can.

Thank you to everyone else for your positive comments, I appreciate your coming to my defence.

Nice work and very affordable. Good job! :)

I may be contacting you later this week or early next week about getting a custom bracelet made. :D

I look forward to hearing from you! Please send me an email before you send any hair so I will know to look for it in the mail.
