Worming 9 mon. old?
I was wondering how much and what kind I should use, or if it'd be safer to call the vet until he's a bit more tained?
hi hope this helps
I give them a dose for 500 lbs of whatever de-wormer I use until I know they are more than 500 lbs. I also only use the really safe ones like Ivermectin, Fenbendazole and such until I have an accurate weight on them. Depending on the breed, a 9 month old might weight 500 lbs or he might weigh 900, so by that age I like to get a pretty accurate weight, either with a NEW weight tape or on a visit to the vet clinic, I like to take them across the scale.
He's got a worm belly. You can't see his ribs, but definitely feel them. I'll see what I can do.
Probably has roundworms. Most young ones do if not wormed.
My little guy was given Panacure. I have yet to do it myself but before I got him he was given panacure. I don't know how much but I hear that's the general wormer to use?
Alright, thanks everyone.
