Shoulders and heels
I've been riding for 7 years. I'm 16 years old.
I've been through 3 riding teachers. I'm on my 3rd one now. She's an amazing teacher. :)
I'm having trouble keeping my shoulders back.
My teacher always says "make your shoulder blades touch."
I have a wonderful seat at the walk and standing still.
My shoulders are back then.
However, when I go to a trot or faster, I tend to out my shoulders somewhat forward and my heels go up.
Any tips on how I can fix this? :)
I was always told "Act like you have the biggest boobs in the world."
Well said, Harlee! :D That should work.
My trainer says "Act like you're about to sing" or quietly hum the ABC's to yourself.
Thank youuuuuu! :D
