Good excercises to build up the hind quarters?

So I didnt ride much last year and as a result I have noticed that my mare is laking a bit of muscle in her hindquarters. I would really like to get her back into shape.
Does anyone have any good excercises to help build up her muscles?

Thanks in advance :D

Do a LOT of rollbacks. Partcularly along the fence. Stop, backup, rollback and lope off. Stop, backup, rollback, etc.

Also, a LOT of trotting and loping up hills.

Just a lot of trot work, will do wonders.

If you have some poles put them out for trot poles and do them.

Walking up and down hills is always good, if you have them.

i agree when i first got my horse he need "more butt muscle" as my mom said, so we spent alot of time going up and down hills and it helped alot now he can make it up a really steep hill at a walk no problem. it is definately a excercise worth trying!!!

We have a hill about 1.5 km from the house so I could ride there and work her :) I will defintly try it and let you guys know how it went.

Thankyou very much for the help!
