critique his pedigree?
gabe's registeres name is harbour tide. critique his pedigree??
i didn't know how to put it on here so you'll just have to go to the site
I don't know too much about TB pedigrees. The only names I recognized were Northern Dancer and Native Dancer. They were good but that was many generations ago. :???:
Native Dancer wasn't a good line. Big Brown is off of that line on top and bottom and the line is known for terrible feet (look at Big Brown now) just like the Cinemax line to Paint Horses. Nobody really jumps out at me as a bad influence except for the "dancer" line and I don't see anyone to write home about. It's not a bad pedigree though :-).....
well im sorry if i am being a bit rude, but i will be the first to defend Native Dancer
I believe studies have shown that inbreeding is more the soundness issue than Native Dancer.
That statement was a bit over the top, There is nothing wrong with the Native Dancer line
Do you know Ruffians story,
how about Northern Dancer and Mr Prospector?
Northern Dancer is defiantely your 'horse to write home about'
Cosmah, Halo, Almahmoud, Mr Prospector
although your horse's inbreeding past is a bit Risky, I would love to have a horse with those bloodlines
My horse, Jet's Native Showoff, is a decendant of Native Dancer, perfectly sound, best horse i could ever hope for
We had Explosive Pledge who was out of Mr Prospector bloodlines, great racehorse, sound
you have a good horse
