Contact the stud and ask about shipping would be the way forward

Why not ask the stallion owner.......as they are a part of what makes of the cost......some stallion owners charge for every collection some give you 2 to 3 collections for free......you usually have to put a deposit down on the equitaner or buy a disposable.
Collection can run you a couple 2 to 3 hundred.....depends on whether the stallion owner is doing it or whether it's done by a vet.
Then at least $50.00 for the container.
Then then the flight.....$50 to a $100.00
When I had semen shipped from Alberta to B. C. from what I can recall it was about a $150.00 total but I did not have to pay a collection fee.
I would estimate up to $500.00 for collection and shipping.

ok thanks, so really if it went anything like yours did it will be about 5 or 600 bucks? and i will need the vet to AI her but she is cheaoer then most vets bacuase she works out of her home and i dont pay mileage because she like like a mile away.

You should budget for a $1000.00 a cycle that would include the collection, shipment, insemination, and ultrasound at 14 days to check for twins.

I thought you weren't going to breed either one of your mares yet? and it was just a possibility that you were considering and you didn't have any stallions in mind?
