Which breed would you use for Equine Experience?

We have become very involved in a new non-profit organization, www.equine-experience.org
It is horse assisted emotional therapy for at-risk children. It is a great opportunity to do something for children in your community and make some money to pay the feed bills. They are actively looking for horse owners all over the country and it is growing very fast! Please pass word of this around to all of your horse friends. So far the Haflinger Association has shown a lot of interest, and the Tennessee Walking Horse people are getting behind it. This is a program that is successful because horses are extremely reactive to body language. This is largely non-riding,

Honestly, I don't see the point.

I'm at a rehabilitation center quite often, I just got back form one today. It certainly does require a general breed, but more so a specific horse. We have everything from an appaloosa to a percheron to a welsh pony. At different breeds but suitable for the program.

I agree as well, horses just like people can have different personalities. I love quarter horses but I have seen some mean ones and I have also seen horses that are afraid of their own shadow. Its the horse not the breed I think as well
