Does anyone know how to make "scary" jumps that are pretty inexpensive?
I already use the blanket/saddle pad over pole and I use barrels but I want more "scary" jumps.
Please post any suggestions you have. :D
witches hats always help.
over the years, i have used:
sheets & blankets
44 gallon drums
and pretty much anything else i could find.
oh, bales of hay were always good.
Christmas trees are fantastic to put under jumps after you've finished with them. Of course this is definetely the wrong time of the year for that xD
i've thought about using shower curtains...cause you can get them in so many bright colors and they smell funny. And if you build a wood frame you could just staple them on in any shape you want.
All it takes is for you to add pretty much anything you can think of under fences.
Anything that's bright in color
old torn up shirts =]
We took silly string and sprayed it all over a jump and around it and man did it scare the horses ha ha ha. Tarps, sheets, buckets, basically anything.
Cones can be scary for some horses. ;)
Same with a broom, chairs, etc. Shower curtains, never heard of that, haha that'd be funny!
