Warmblood with old pastern injury
I was contacted by someone with a 14 year old 16.3hh Warmblood gelding. She heard from a friend that I also had a tall gelding that was only sound for light riding and asked if I would buy hers for $200. When I asked why he could only be ridden lightly she said he was a circuit horse as well as doing fox jumping (I have no idea what that is) and sustained a front left pasturn injury while jumping. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix and injury like this after its healed over? She says he's sound at a walk but seems uncomfortable with anything faster. Sorry its kinda vague but thats all I got. I would only think of taking this horse if there was a way to make him sound again.

No body here can give you a scrap of valid advice without knowing what the injury is. There are a lot of components to the pastern, some could spell disaster, others could spell a few months off.

you would need 2 get an xray and ask the vet your question

Most likely w/ a horse being used as it was and the fact that it had an injury bad enough to stop it's career as well as being an old injury, there is probably little to be done.
