More gawky yearling photos!

Sorry guys, I tend to overload you with Billy photos, but like a proud mother, I just adore this little yearling!
He is going through another growth spurt, bum high, flat wither etc.
As far as training goes... well... he's just so **** easy! I still feel like he knows it all already every time I introduce something to him. He backs, walks forward, yields quarters and shoulders with my body language, yields to a touch of the halter with my pinky finger in any direction. I can pick all 4 hooves up without him being haltered, in the middle on the paddock. Wrap my arms around his legs, his girth, grab his ears, fingers up his nose, into his mouth. I've been jumping up and down by his girth, no reaction at all. Can lean all over him and not even have him think twice about it.
I think my breaker is going to get bored with this one!!
Anyway - photos :D

And yes, we're a bit embarrassed by that belly!! He is like a slinky, fat, skinny, fat, skinny... as he grows

I certainly hope there's a nice horse under the gawky yearling look, considering how much he cost me
I am beyond paranoid about keeping him sound now, we've had 3 abscesses already this year (two in his face, one in a hood), and then he went and jumped a 1.3m fence into the mare's paddock on the weekend. His hind leg looked a little stiff tonight going up the hill, hence I put him in the round yard for a quick spin to see if he was lame. Worked out of it pretty quickly so I think he's just pulled a muscle.

He is still gorgeous in his gawkiness. He reminds me of a 2 yr old tb at work they have almost the exact same face.

Oh wow! Lets hope he is not accident prone!
