Ariat Field Boots (Size: 8.5 or 9) - Height Question

Random question but does anyone own a pair of Ariat Field Boots that are a size 8.5 or 9 - short or medium in height? I'm looking to order a pair online to save money and I need to know how tall they are from the inside.

I'm considering a pair of Ariat Crowne Pro's (pull on) and they are the medium height which is 18.5 inches but I'm having a hard time figuring out if that is the starting height and they will drop down an inch or if they are actually taller but expected to drop down to 18.5 inches? My calves are 17 inches high and I just want to make sure the 18.5 isn't going to be too tall even after they drop.

Any insight would be much appreciated! <3

The height they give you is the height before they drop. I wold also recommend getting the ones with a zipper. From personal experience, the ones with the zippers will fit your leg and ankle much better.

Hrm! I could get the ones with zippers but I've heard that they are extremely poor quality? I guess I could just get new zippers put on. Thanks though, if that's the height before they drop then they could work with heel risers or something. :)
