How to get into Rodeo
I live in the U.P. of Michigan where there really aren't too many rodeos. I go to one every year that is an open rodeo but I really want to get more into them! I will travel into the lower peninsula. I just don't know how to find them or how to get into them! Anyone have advice?

932 Attachment(s) lists a lot races there. You just have to search. I'm not sure where else to look. Have you tired just googling and see what comes up?

(We are coming up to the U.P. this weekend to go snowmobiling!)

Ok thanks! I will have to check that out! Yes I have but I can't really find anything to get a solid start. Where I live it is raining and all of our snow is melting!

BTW: That wasn't supposed to be U.P. It changed it! Haha! I don't know why but it keeps doing it! UP

Really? Are you in the eastern end or the western? Do you barrel race?

We just stayed in St. Ignace this past weekend. We rode snowmobiles to Hulbert, Rudyard and another town around there that I can't think of...I saw signs for Newberry all over. We might have gone through it while we were driving around. We did go up to Tahquamenon Falls in Paradise, but, there wasn't much going on.

It was fun, but it was pretty dead in St. Ignace, which is to be expected. Very cool places though, although, the snowmobiling was not good.

I am approximately 6 hours from you.
