left brain, right brain?

i've heard some talk about the left and right brained horse? but i don't understand how people can tell if their horse is right or left brained... what makes a horse left and what makes him right? can they be both as well?

thanks!

Alexis-if you want the true definitions, the best way is to read PP, since he is primarily the one who uses it. I am not sure anyone else does, but I am sure some of the Parelli-ites here may explain. It is also not just as simple as right and left brain-there are also introverts and extroverts of each.

There is a subforum in the training section on Natural Horsemanship. You may want to post your question there, as you may find more members sympathetic to the right brain/ left brain concept.-
Here in gen pop there tends to be some of us who find the whole 'horsonalities' thing to be a bunch of malarky, albeit somewhat amusing, and vaguely alarming. -
But, to each his own. -
Welcome to the forum! :D

I often wish that my horse would use either side of his brain. I don't really care which.

If you go to the training section of this board, you will find a natural horsemanship sub section there. As others said, you will likely get a more tolerant response there.
