Slipping saddle pad!
 

I ride English, I have a Circuit saddle and I'm using a Roma reversible pad. It always slips back bad when I'm cantering or jumping! Any ideas on how to keep it in place? Is there any other pad you would suggest?

I would be very interested in seeing pictures of your horse tacked up.

That pad has no keepers to hold it in place, the reason it slips out of place. You could sew some keepers in place that secure it to the saddle.

Do you know of any good pad that has keepers that could be used without a half pad (one that's thick enough)?

A wool felt one is pretty thick. Sorry, I am at work & can't tell you the brand offhand, but it's a natural fiber, doesn't need a half pad and you can find them with keepers in dressage sizes.

Why do you need a thick pad?

Because I don't want to have to use a half pad with it.
