Weaver Texas Star Collection So yesterday I was on a local website for horse lovers and I saw that someone had posted a Weaver Texas Star headstall. Now normally these are like $90, but she was selling in for $45 brand new still with the tags! I thought that this was an amazing deal so I bought it. She just shipped it today so it won't be here for a few days. What I was wondering was what does everyone think of the Texas Star Collection? Posted via Mobile Device |
Im a fan of Weaver products. Most of my tack is weaver leather or nylon. Havent had the chance to get the Star collection. :) |
I've had good luck with Weaver products. I like the Texas Star collection as well. I also like the Outlaw one with the conchos that have the pistols on them. |
Weaver headstalls I am making hand loomed browband headstalls... I can find Weaver brand at my local Farm and Tractor, and they are priced quite reasonably. Not owning a horse myself, can anyone please let me know how well they wear and/or if there are other brands that you personally prefer. Note: Cost is a factor here- always trying to find the best for less... Thank you.. New Day Design by Lisa by newdaydesignbylisa on Etsy |
Very nice but you're not charging enough for your hat bands if the beading goes all the way around. The Navaho when weaving rugs always include a mis-stitch to let evil spirits out. |
Thank you Saddlebag for your input. my loom only allows me to bead up to 16" of beadwork, thus, I am yet unable to make a hatband that goes all the way around a hat. Note: Please accept my apologies for posting an "advertising" link here- I did not read the forum rules throughly prior to posting information. This forum is the first I have ever joined, and am learning my way as I go... so sorry ... |
