Hi from Cali :D
Hi my name is Corie and I'm new to the forum!

I've been a horse lover since I was five years. I grew up on a hunter/jumper farm and once my old trainer moved, I got into Arabian horses. I got my first true horse soon after(very long story haha). I did equitation and pleasure classes and started jumping him soon after. Sadly I outgrew him , he is only a mere 14 hands I am 5'6". Luckily my mom is a horse lover too and she was happy when she got to get back into riding, since it was her passion since she was very little. My little Arabian,Spirit, now is my moms trail horse. Through the transition I got back into the hunter/jumper world. I soon got my second horse,Rainee, a 16.1 hand paint/tb. I only owned her for a year when I decided to find her a new loving home because she didn't enjoy jumping and that was starting to become my main interest. Last spring I got my third horse, Biscuit, a 4 yo Thoroughbred at 16.3 and still growing. Everything was going fantastic until just recently we were in a riding lesson and he got fresh and bucked me off and i ended up with a broken femur and had to have surgery. As of right now I won't be able to ride till this fall ):

I joined this forum not only to get helpful tips but to get advice, as I am in a pretty tough spot right now in my riding career. I look forward to talking to everyone!!! :D
