Help! Is My Foal Ok?
My Friesian mare, Zetha, is 311 days pregnant today. Up until about two weeks ago, the foal was incredibly active. It seemed like all I had to do was rub her belly and the foal would start kicking and bouncing like crazy. Now, as I think about it, I haven't seen this for the last couple weeks. I've seen a couple flickers that may have been the foal, but could just as easily have been her muscles twitching. However, she still seems like she is growing bigger, her udders are developing, vulva lengthening, etc., all of which would indicate that her pregnancy is progressing. So what I'm wondering is, is this normal? Should I be completely worried? Do foals get less active as there is less room to move around in there? I think I'll be calling my vet tomorrow regardless, but I would love to hear what other people experience at this stage of pregnancy.
The foal is probably losing room, but it never hurts to call your vet :)

It's normal for the movement to slow down when they get closer to foaling, less room to move, and sometimes they change their schedules, when you could see them move during the day they change to night.
Thank you MyLittlePonies and Cmarie. It's the first foal for both of us, so I'm going crazy about every little thing.
