Sour is FINALLY driving!
Ok well I had this big, long, emotional post about how insanely proud I am of Sour- but you've been spared because the stupid HF decided that I used too much chat speak (what on earth? I didn't use any at all! o.o) in my post and didn't let me put it up.
As a summary of it though, I'd just like to say how PROUD I am of Sour for having come so far in the three years that I've known her. Seeing her transform from this crappy personalitied filly to a strong, confident horse has been amazing and I just love her to death. I also thank my wonderful trainer for teaching me that I need to trust my horse just as much as I ask my horse to trust me!
Please excuse the breastcollar in these pictures. I didn't realize how ill-fitted it is until after, and I'll be ordering her a larger one before we drive again.
We're all set! (yes, there is a horse on the deck. He swears he's human and has as much right to shade as we do! It was HOT today!)
Off we go!!!
How did I do mama?
I just love her summer coat. And that mane! She definately takes after her daddy, it's to her shoulders now!
and one of Little Feather, because he was feeling left out <3 silly boy.
Thats awesome!! Congrats to the both of you! I know how long and hard the two of you have been working towards this!! She looks fantastic! Congrats again!!
YAY for Sour!!!
Looks like you guys are going to be driving all over the place :P Maybe you should come pick me up and be my taxi for the day. ♥ Congrazts! She looks awesome in front of that cart.
Thanks guys! She made my trainer laugh when she took everything so well. We were half expecting her to flip the cart or atleast bolt once, but she acted like she does this every day. She's definately got some potential though. She was so level headed throughout the whole thing, even though we had a HUGE amount of activity going on, what with the construction that we're having done on our new wheelchair ramp, and all of the normal lesson kids and a bunch of girlscouts being out there. There were saws and buzzing sounds and screaming and yelling, but she stayed totally tuned in to me! Didn't even phase her when we got stuck in a bit of mud ( completely my fault) and the second I clicked to her she dug right in and pulled us out. You'd never know she was afraid of mud and water just a month ago!
Tia- You bet! Nothing better than cruising around town in a horse-drawn buggy!
So jealous!! You're going to have SO much fun driving her around. -highfive- Get me some more pictures :P Nothing cuter than a a pony toting a buggy around. Now you have a whole lot more options for your next Halloween costume,
Oh, forgot it in my last response, but by the way the pony on the porch is adorable xD Looks like something I'd let my pony do. Oh wait... my full grown horse does that :p
Congrats! Good girl Sour :)
XD Ah yes...Cowboy such a ham. He drinks out of a cup, begs for frenchfries and hamburgers, and stands on the porch ruling over his kingdome on a regular basis  we have quite the interesting crew of horses!
Awesome! Before you know it, you two will be in the mini driving Olympics!!
ahahaha, wouldn't that be fun? They should totally have something like that xD
awe lovely pictures of Sour and Little Feather
