Officer Frank is awesome - bragging moment
Super excited about how good my ottb Officer Frank is doing. We have only had 8 rides together and already he is showing moments of self carriage, his transitions have improved and he is learning his canter departure which we only do 1-2 times a sessions and our sessions have been 20-30 min long.I am so impressed with his progress. We mix it up to keep him on his toes but he is doing awesome!!!!

That is fantastic! And may I just say...I LOVE his name!!!

Thanks I do have to say he has a pretty cool name which means I didn't have to change it when I go him. My last ottb that I lost this past fall had the not so cool name of hiway threetwenty. Had to change that

Your posts about Officer Frank make me smile because of my own OTTB who is coming along beautifully. I love how my guy has settled into his new career with enthusiasm and it sounds like your guy is doing the same!

Smilin1590 it is just so exciting their progress from track to their new career. For his 10th ride we did our first mini solo trail and he was awesome. Makes you smile into the next week!!

I know. They're just so smart and catch on quickly. I'm glad my boy got retired for being a slow poke, because I think he's enjoying the career switch, that and the fact that you can get some of these wonderful horses for a song and they turn out being some of the best show horses out there. Can you tell I'm a fan of the OTTB! You'd never guess, I wasn't a fan of the TB about 7 years ago . I've forever been changed and love them to pieces!

Haha they are addictive aren't they. The other day we went out and he picked up both leads in balance, moved off my leg and then did another solo trail where he trotted through water then jumped the ditch back into my yard. He is simply an amazing fellow.
