- - What Breed?

In my album I have posted a picture of a horse that my friend bought. He doesn't know if she is clydesdale, percheron or a cross of both. I was thinking a cross of the two. What do you think?

Looks Clyde to me. Roans are a common color in the breed. Put up better body shots. If she is crossed with anything, I'd think more QH. Her feathering is light for a full clyde and typically the first cross with a light horse doesn't take much of the bulk and size away from the foal.

Looks Clyde, possibly ClydeXPercheron

I would say it is crossed with Clyde. Look at the feathers on those feet. The few Percheron's i have seen are fairly clean legged.

Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. LD is quite stocky, but not as large as some clydes I have seen. I also thought she couldn't be straight percheron because of the feathering on the feet. I don't know a lot about horses. I just started working with them last year for the first time since I was a teenager. I have been working with a horse trainer. I was out at this farming and working a couple of the other horses, but this one I have asked about is very difficult. She is 8 years old and green. If she is in the mood everything is fine, if she isn't she will charge. Now if I go in the pasture, most of the time she will run the other horses away from me. I have to watch my back. Then on other days she wants love. I was wondering about the breed, because another friend of mine said sometimes the percheron clyde cross can be like that and it is not safe. Any advice?

I have added a couple more photos to view LD to help determine her breed. Thank you.

Do you think a cross or all clyde?

I don't see much of a cross. Just Clyde.
