can horses have raisin's ?
 
I have a whole box of raisins and i was wondering if i could give my horse a few ???


yes or no ?

u could give him the whole box and it wouldnt hurt him/her. I feed my horse all kinds of stuff and he is in great health. but yea ne kind of fruit like that you can give them, mine loves raisins and watermelon.

I was recently told raisins actually have a poison in them... I fed my horses small doses of raisins for a long time though w/o any problem.

very bad for dogs have never heard about horses i will look it up!

I've been told that grape seeds are toxic to horses. I'm not sure how toxic and not sure if a raisin since it is dried would have the same affect.
