What's a good bareback pad?

Hi there!

I am looking into getting a bareback pad for my birthday, but can't figure out which one would be best for me.

I am a 5"1 tall rider on a 15H horse (I'm insanely short :? ) I need a fairly "sticky" pad because my seat needs more development. I know the ones with stirrups are dangerous, so those are out. I'm a Western rider, no English here as of yet. Don't know if that makes a difference or what.

If you use one, which brand do you like best?

I'm not looking to spend a fortune. Keeping it around $60-80 would be great.

I though the Reinsman Tackytoo Microsuede Pad looked good, does anyone have one?

Thanks! :-P

I ride bareback a LOT and would rather have a pair of full seat breeches than any bareback pad I've ever tried.... Unless maybe your horse has a lot of backbone (or underdeveloped muscles around it).
