Hi, my name is Renee and I live in western Wisconsin.

I'm currently horseless, first time since 1967 I've been without a horse. I hope to get another one eventually....but, my Arabian mare passed away last winter, she was my whole world. I'd had her for 22 years, she was 23. I just wanted to post a picture or two of her, she was an angel and very sweet and gentle.

Hi Vidaloco....thank you...she was such a quiet and gentle horse, she's going to be tough to replace....they broke the mold when she was foaled. She'd come a-runnin' when I called her name, and she was never mare-ish, and so fun to ride.

you will find another to love-she was gorgeous so sorry for your loss. do you mind if i ask why you are waiting for another horse?

I have to wait for a while now because I recently went thru a job loss....and now I am just trying to get re-organized again and get back to work. Can't find a job right now for what I went to school for (Coding, medical records), so I am broadening my search, unemployment doesn't pay very much. So, a horse is on the back burner for now. I used to keep my mare Kara at a friend's place, but they are getting older now and going to retire soon and hand the place over to their son, it was very cheap to board there, so now I would also have to pay more for board too. I am hoping perhaps next spring. :D

Hi Remali! Your girl was beautiful! Very sorry for your loss. I can relate as I lost my appy mare last year who I also had for 22 yrs. She was 24. Good luck in your search when you're ready again. :wink:
