Yesterday, Jubilee had tons of dried mud on her belly, especially near the girth area. I used my rubber mitt and my plastic curry comb but it took forever to get it out and I still didn't get all of it. Either she rolled, or was just trotting around the mud came flying up to her belly.
It should come off in the next few days or maybe even a week, just keep currying. :D Use LOTS of elbow grease!
If its ever that bad I usually just go for a bath  If I don't have time I just use a wet sponge to soften up the mud so it comes off easier.
^True, a bath doesn't hurt! :D
if you cant or dont need.want to wash you can get a bucket of water and a sponge. as soon as water touches it it will be gone :D
Just hose it. I don't like to use curry combs for dry mud, especially on the belly where you can't see anything. You can rip a lot of hair out to and it's hard to tell if you end up cleaning everything off.
If you hose it down, it will just rinse off and she'll be squicky clean:)
