Gorgeuos! I just love Appys! If I had one I'd name him Cookie! Is he good to ride?

Zanesgirl 07-24-2008 04:56 AM

He is good to ride, although i am having to get used to his long strides lol When he starts trotting i find i get a little left behind at the start, and i'm working on sitting to his trot, which is not easy on him.
we're also fiddling with bits to find out what he is most comfortable with, and he tends to be a little hard in the mouth, although he responds beautifully to voice commands and shifting your weight.
we really just need to get used to each other i think, as i've only ridden him about 6 times now and not usually for any great length of time.

im sure in the end, he can teach me so much! and he's so adorable, i just love him to bits! :)

Wow that's really good. How lonmg have you had him for?

BTW. I used to ride a horse like that, I never ended up getting used to his stride, but if you keep working at it, I'm sure you'll be able to.

The lady who owns him has had him for about 4 years, and i've been working with him for about 6 months on and off.
