True or False?
Ok so I heard adding one raw egg to your horses feed once a day will make your horse more shiny and that it Healthy. Is this true?

Eggs actually contain quite a bit of fat so I guess the fat will help.
Many old grooms would give their horses an egg a day. They also fed extracted hops from beer making.
A dollop of vegetable oil will also do it.

That's one I hadn't heard before... It might work, but there are many more herbivore-appropriate things you can add for shine. Oil, flaxseed, and BOSS come to mind.

I give my horse a little canola oil and flaxseed mixed into her grain and she has become quite the shiner :)

I just go with the flax seeds and (at times) with canola oil. That works nicely.
